School discontinues class for gifted students because too many whites qualify

Mike Caro says:

I’m sad. Sad that people make decisions by skin color. Sad because it’s mostly the liberals who do it. Sad because I devoted so much energy and passion early in my life to sing out loud for equality, only to see racists everywhere, calling those who aren’t ”racist.“

And I’m sad that the concept of diversity has become so fashionable. Diversity of culture is really a bad thing. The entire history of the world has been a battleground of culture, where we gradually, collectively, decide what fits best and pretty much conform to the general rules. Otherwise, we have not enough in common. Obviously, I favor nonconformity and eccentricity.

The few who have the time or interest to examine my life and discover who I am will find that obvious. Still, things just work better when the nonconformist knows he or she is nonconforming. It doesn’t work when there’s no central, accepted standard to stand out against. We need to merge cultures and become one megaculture. One language. One set of accepted manners. The exact language and the precise manners don’t need to be the best possible. But the game has to have rules that we understand.

And that’s precisely why diversity sucks. It welcomes different cultures, rather than ending the long war of cultures. And when you end the war, skin color doesn’t matter, religion doesn’t matter, customs don’t matter. Everyone is graded fairly.

So, I don’t care if all Asians, all blacks, or all whites show up in the gifted students class, so long as the process is fair. And the process is always fair if you deny diversity. Diversity is evil. I’ll bet you never heard that before, but it’s the truth, when you think about it. — MC
