Poker1 log of changes and additions: 2010-05

2010-05-04

Added or completed entries or pages…

Poker players, fellow gamblers: We’re being conned

Targeted poker quiz 13: Review (beginner)

Targeted poker quiz 14: 7-stud (intermediate)

Targeted poker quiz 15: Hold ’em (intermediate)

Targeted poker quiz 16: Omaha-8 (intermediate)

Targeted poker quiz 17: Psychology (intermediate)

Changed entries or pages

Fixed multiple instances of significant extra line spacing near bottom of dictionary Introduction entry.

Minor fixes.

Corrected duplicate instance of “Psychology” in the “Targeted poker quizzes” series — 04 and 06 were the same, and 06 is now correctly titled “…Opponents…”

Functionality added, discontinued, or changed…

Changed comment indenting from five levels deep to just three levels. Five levels was deemed excessive, because the last two levels of comments are too narrow. The third-, fourth-, and fifth-level replies will now be indented the same (two indents to the right of the original message).

Other…

Added “Poker players, fellow gamblers: We’re being conned” to Spotlight

Removed “Lies told about psychology in poker” from Spotlight

2010-05-03

Added or completed entries or pages…

Targeted poker quiz 11: Tournaments (beginner)

Should you show your hands in poker?

Targeted poker quiz 12: Poker rules (beginner)

Changed entries or pages

Minor fixes

Added entry for “Poker1 credits, licenses, and tools used” where attribution is given for photos, entries, software, plug-ins, and other elements used at the new Poker1.com

Included “American roulette layout” image in the credits entry above

Functionality added, discontinued, or changed…

Fixed title on Quote Rotator widget updated yesterday. It reverted to its default title “Quote Rotator,” but previously was, “Welcome to Poker1,” as it is now.

Other…

Didn’t need to fix extra dangling bullet point on MCU (top menu) temporary pages (waiting for actual content) in block quote “You can access Poker1 content right now by.” This strange glitch fixed itself. It was there, verified from two separate locations, but wasn’t there until yesterday, and now it seems okay again. We will continue to monitor the issue.
