MCU poker tip: How to use “pokerclack”

Changed entries or pages

Added links near top of to-do list entry for current changelog and the changelog archives

Added second (more conspicuous) link to daily to-do list near the top of this entry (“Poker1.com log of changes and additions”)

Added temporary filler content with greetings, explanations, guidance, “You’re watching the NEW Poker1 growing in full public view!” notice, and suggested starter links to all pages that were previously labeled “Under construction” or that were blank. Some pages had active content and these weren’t changed significantly, if at all. Some that were blank had active subpages and, in those cases, the higher-level page filler mentioned these more-useful pages near the top.

Darkened the “Poker1 special indexes” heading in the box atop the main-menu INDEX page. Made that text black, but left the three diamonds on each side gray. Also tweaked formatting and adjusted some gray-scale text shading.

Minor fixes

Functionality added, discontinued, or changed…

Checked links to publications where entry was originally published at the beginning of some entries to make sure they open in a new window or tab, not in the currently visited Poker1 location. Made changes as needed. (The “Mike Caro poker word is…” series was checked with the latest entry corrected and the entire missing notice added to the “… word is Flop” entry. Entries with similar links to other publications will be presumed to be functioning in the same matter, unless found to be otherwise.)

Other…

Added “Poker tell video: Staring down” to Spotlight

Removed “Mike Caro poker word is Overcall” from Spotlight

Functionality added, discontinued, or changed…

Created first archive entry for changelog, separating previous month’s accounting of events from current log and creating a link to a separate archive index entry. This link will appear permanently atop the current log. Past month’s logs will be created between the 3rd and 15th days of each month, leaving at least three days accessible in the current log.

Created a system of cross-linking among this current changelog, the index to older changelogs, and the monthly archives. As noted above, the first archival entry,  for March, 2010 — “Poker1.com log of changes and additions: 2010-03” – was created today.

Fixed Zone 2 / Real life / Articles about life page so that the index includes more than one life-strategy entry. (Added the POKER1 EXTRA / Real life category to the index, but needed to remove the “Entries about life” tag from index logic [after renaming it from “Articles about life” as a possible solution, on the theory that the tag name might be problematic, having the same as the page — but the name change had no observed effect] because testing showed that the A-Z Index plug-in sometimes or always excludes the category or categories if a tag is included. Excluding at tag, though, with the “~” prefix works with categories assigned. Further experimentation recommended.)

Other…

Updated two tells video files and one audio file in wordTube, manually changing references from pokerstorm to poker1. (This change is internal and not seen by Poker1 visitors.)

Added “Mike Caro poker word is Bluffs” to Spotlight

Removed “Mike Caro poker word is Price” from Spotlight
