yeast
(n) Raise. “Let’s give it a little yeast” means “I raise.”
(n) “You go home now,” in RGP speak. The expression is used in e-mail, as a chat term, and is also heard at the table. The implication is that the speaker just beat a good hand held by the person to whom the comment is directed, probably by a longshot. Also see IGHN.

(n) Yoleven.
(n; imitative) 11, in respect to the size of a bet. Probably comes from craps dealers who pronounce the word clearly, loudly, and distinctly to distinguish amid all the casino noise from the similar sounding seven. Often they drag it out to eeyoleven, and this is sometimes shortened to eeyo. Also, yo.
“You can’t be too careful.”
(expression) Sarcastic comment made when a player just shows down a hand that probably should have bet or just calls with a hand that probably should have raised.
younger hand
(n phrase) An obsolete term for any player to the left of the eldest hand (that is, the one immediately to the left of the dealer).
youngest hand
(n phrase) An obsolete term for the last player to receive cards (that is, the dealer).
young guns
(n phrase) The new breed of young poker players, particularly superaggressive tournament players in their 20s. Many of them got their start on the Internet.
“You’re short.”
(expression) A reminder that a player owes money to a pot, has not anted, or has not posted a required blind.
“You’re so tight you squeak.”
(expression) A complaint from an action player to a (usually) weak-tight no-action player.

(n phrase) Seven-card flip.

(n) Chat term for “your” (or “you’re”).

(n) Chat term for “you’re welcome.” Usually typed in response to tx or the like.
