once while sitting out a hand and two other players in a hand playing, i noticed that one guy had the foot bouncing like this video..only i put him on a draw and as soon as the river made a flush he stopped and raised… he had the flush..he was nervous about calling all the way down and missing the river..
I noticed in this scenario that you elected just to call with a K high. Wouldn’t a bet be safer there, as Red Leader might be bluffing with an A that didn’t connect? I guess the board could have included one. Also, I’m told I read too deeply into things …

You’re right. You’ll find an article — either already here or pending transfer — in which I examine the concept of not risking half the pot when you believe both you and an opponent hold garbage. You should often bet.
But betting in the video would have spoiled the tell, and sometimes betting isn’t worth the risk. In fact, if I had bet, this tell would never had existed, since it’s about the opponent’s mannerisms following his bet.
How likely is it that the bluff came from a better hand? Will I gain psychological leverage by just calling and winning? What are the chances that I’m misreading the tell? These are all considerations to ponder before deciding.
Sometimes betting IS better.

Thanks for being an early contributor to our growing Poker1 family.
I agree that the audio drops off sometimes, especially the background conversations. There’s not much we can do about this, because that’s the way the video was filmed and edited, but we’ll be adding exclusive new Poker1 video and audio content soon.
After we get Poker1 up and running in its entirety (remember, you’re watching the new P1 as it is being constructed), maybe we’ll see if we can tweak the sound a bit. But that’s not at the top of our to-do list right now.
