Video notes

Sure, it’s important to observe the manner in which an opponent bets in poker. Powerful tells can be seen frequently when watching a wager.

But have you ever considered where the bet is aimed? That’s important — and here you see this profitable tell in action.

Bonus notes

The Laws of Tells at the end of many of these videos are extra information and don’t always apply to the preceding tell.

  1. Mike…as always I love your advice, videos and insights into ‘tells’. I almost always learn…but you ‘always’ make me ‘think’ (usually outside-of-the-box). But, what I have just come away with (after watching about ten of your videos on ‘tells’ this evening) is; this is great knowledge about ‘live’ face-to-face poker.
But, since the Internet advent and explosion into the ‘on-line poker world’ over the past decade…how do we determine and read ‘tells’ in on-line poker games versus traditional (old-fashioned) face-to-face casino poker. As a Behavioral Scientist, psychologist and want-ta-be World-Class, profitable poker player, this has peaked my interest over the past year. Hopefully, a book will follow about on-line poker ‘tells’ in 2012.
    Best Personal Regards,
    Dr. Walt
