  1. Funny you should mention…..I have thought for a while that a partial solution to California’s money woes [or any state for that matter] might be to build and operate its own casinos…..For one thing, if you knew you would be getting about 15 cents out of every dollar on slot machines alone, HOW LONG would you figure it would take to pay off the construction costs ??? IDEA #2: a 24 hour “POKER and GAMING CHANNEL for television; coverage of events, Instructional shows, boundaries are those of imagination. WHERE Funding is to come from ??? A 50-50 Partnership with one or more of the Native American Tribes/Casinos…Imagine borrowing, say, $10MILLION for construction and setup…As the money comes in, half of the profits go to the Native American casino/Tribe partner, half to the state…..Say further that the $10 Million is paid back in 5 years; at that point, the partners decide whether they should continue the partnership as is, change the partnership in some way, or terminate the partnership…..In any case, the Native American partners receive an additional amount equal to a reasonable amount of interest, say anywhere from $2-$4Million or whatever might have been agreed upon before the partnership was drawn up…..
