Still struggling to find a site, mainly due to payout issues. 1. Thought I had Minted Poker. They supposedly used PIC Club as an e-wallet. PIC Club never returned my emails for info. Then the VISA option suddenly crapped out- "technical difficulties". So I thought I would try Western Union but the recipient was a computer generated name of a recipient in the Philippines! For those who don't know (I do because I am married to a Philippina), the Philippines is the ripoff capitol of the world. Do NOT play at Minted Poker.

2. BoDog (now Bovara) has been my fav after Poker Stars. But now that they have changed their name, they are down from a few bad payout types to one bad payout type- a check drawn on a foreign bank. My banker tells me they can take a month to clear and then be hit with a $60 fee for processing.

3. I read a review that BetOnline and Lock are the safest places to put one's money. Lock also pays out only by check, though it accepts Western Union for deposits! BetOnline has a weird setup with few games. It has a fair amount of payout options but they are like e-wallets and fees are attached to each.

4. My banker used to play at Absolute himself & said the e-wallet there was good. He also advised me to get a VISA card w/a low limit for poker deposits. He said it is the safest way to deposit because at most the website can only get the limit on the card and VISA can refuse to pay a merchant if you enter a conflict resolution. I guess this is why the VISA at Minted Poker stopped working!

5. There are several good poker sites but can anyone recommend a site that has decent payout methods for American players?
