Welcome to our Brunson and Caro Forums. While we encourage lively discussion, please be polite. Pretend that you're among friends in your living room. Perhaps there is a place on the Internet for hostile discussion, but this isn't that place.

Remember that for almost everything we know about poker or life, there was a time -- a moment earlier -- when we didn't know it. So, be patient in helping beginners discover truth that's new to them, even if it's obvious to you.

Please help us by pointing out posts that may be inappropriate. Anyone can read these messages, but in order to post you must complete a very simple registration.

Please leave speculative allegations about people's bad behavior or character to other forums with different standards.

You aren't just our guests here; you're our family.

Welcome home.

Well it's time to say goodbye to this forum, it's a shame, but with no input from Mike or Doyle or anyone it should be shut.

It's a ghost town.  Put it out of it's misery.

Oh the good ol' days when people would post, start topics, reply, and even have fun......

still reading the science and learning the art.

I am not much of a poster but a constant lurker. I've always admired Mr. Caro and all of his work and I will continue to do so. But I do agree that it is a shame what has come of this site. I actually don't think this site ever even came close to its potential.

I'm hoping that with the relaunch of DoylesRoom and the anticipated changes of the UIGEA Mr. Caro will rediscover his passion for MCU, this site and playing poker in general. Unfortunately his recent article, "Do you really want to play poker full time?" from the May 2008 issue of Bluff Magazine, casts a shadow of some doubt in my mind.

I just hope he hasn't lost grasp of his importance to this game and he's just replacing the time he had dedicated to this site with something more important. One day we all have to look back and either say "I wish I had" or "I'm glad I did". The best way to predict your future is to create it.
